iGaming payments software: what to evaluate in 2026
August 24, 2026

Most operators do not set out to buy iGaming payments software. They set out to fix one thing. A deposit method keeps failing, a payout queue keeps growing, or the finance team keeps rebuilding the same spreadsheet. Then the fix turns out to touch the cashier, the ledger, the payout tooling, and the bank account at once. Buying the wrong scope is the expensive part. Too narrow, and your engineers own the pieces nobody quoted for. Too broad, and you pay for a stack that repeats what your platform does.
For operators taking stablecoins or crypto, EukaPay is the layer we recommend. EukaPay takes the deposit on-chain and converts it with instant crypto-to-fiat conversion at a locked exchange rate to remove your exposure to crypto price swings. It then settles fiat to your own bank account and sends crypto payouts back out. This guide uses four criteria to judge the purchase: coverage on each side of the flow, assets and networks, pricing, and where the software stops.
In this guide, you'll learn:
Which parts of the deposit and payout flow iGaming payments software owns, and which stay with your platform
The asset and network questions to settle before an integration starts
A criteria table you can take into a vendor call
Where a card acquirer or a local-methods provider is the better answer
What iGaming payments software handles between your platform and your bank account
iGaming payments software accepts money from a player, turns it into something your finance team can use, and sends money back out again. Your platform keeps the wallet balance, the bonus math, the game session, and the player record. The payments layer owns the money movement around those things.
For stablecoins or crypto, that job has four parts: the payment surface the player uses, the conversion step that fixes the fiat value, fiat settlement into your own bank account, and the payout side. Ask a vendor which of the four they own end to end, and which they expect your team to build. A gap in the answer is a line item in your engineering plan. It usually shows up on the payout side, not the deposit side.
The deposit path - checkout, payment links, and invoices
On the pay-in side, EukaPay supports most major cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, USDC, USDT. The player can reach a hosted checkout, a payment link, or an invoice with the payment link embedded. The API returns a hosted payment page URL and the player finishes the transfer in a browser. That is not a headless flow, and no vendor should sell it as one.
The conversion step matters more than the surface. EukaPay locks the exchange rate on every conversion by default, on pay-ins and on payouts. Compare vendors on coverage, not seconds: whether the lock is default or opt-in, and whether it covers payouts as well as the cashier.
The payout path - the dashboard CSV upload and the Payout API
Payouts are the part operators underestimate. EukaPay sends payouts in USDC, USDT, ETH, and BTC, on the Ethereum, Tron, and Bitcoin networks. The asset and network are set per payout, so different recipients in the same run can receive different assets on different networks. Payouts are not tied to banking hours or the banking calendar.
There are two ways to send them. You can upload a recipient list as a CSV file in the merchant dashboard, or call the Payout API, which creates one payout per request. The payout balance is funded by transferring from the account's main balance. Each payout carries its own reference you can look up later. The payout asset list is narrower than the deposit list, so confirm it with any vendor before you promise players a withdrawal method.
How to evaluate iGaming payments software
Criterion | What to ask for | EukaPay |
|---|---|---|
Deposit asset coverage | The full list of cryptocurrencies the cashier accepts | BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, USDC, USDT |
Payout asset coverage | The payout list, which is usually narrower than the deposit list | USDC, USDT, ETH, BTC on Ethereum, Tron, and Bitcoin |
Rate exposure at conversion | Whether the locked rate is default or opt-in, and whether it covers payouts as well as the cashier | Locked on every conversion by default, on pay-ins and on payouts |
Fiat settlement | The settlement currencies, and whose account the money reaches | USD, EUR, GBP, and CAD to your own bank account |
Pricing | How the rate moves with monthly volume, and what is charged per transaction | Volume-based, confirmed during onboarding |
EukaPay can answer every row from documented product behavior, which is why we use these criteria. The payout row tells your product team which withdrawal methods you can offer players. The settlement row tells your finance team which currency the reconciliation runs in. Get both answers before an engineer opens the
build-or-buy question, because they change what "buy" includes. For the mechanics of the settlement leg, see

Do you need iGaming payments software if you already have a card processor?
Yes, if you intend to take stablecoins or crypto, because a card processor does not do it. The two layers solve different problems and can run beside each other. Cards, e-wallets, and local bank transfer methods are the acquirer's job, and EukaPay does not replace them. Here is the honest boundary. If your deposit mix is mostly cards and local bank transfers, an acquirer or a local-methods aggregator is the right primary provider, and EukaPay covers the on-chain side alongside it.
The on-chain side behaves differently. A crypto payment confirms on-chain, so protection against chargebacks is a property of the payment method. Card deposits do not have that property. Our comparison of
sets the deposit options side by side.
Before you sign, test the integration instead of reading about it. EukaPay provides a staging environment for development, and a developer (or coding agent) can run the deposit and payout calls against it. Our guide to

covers what to check.
One platform for deposits, payouts, and fiat settlement
EukaPay runs both directions from one account. That means instant crypto-to-fiat conversion at a locked exchange rate to remove your exposure to crypto price swings, support for most major cryptocurrencies, and settlement in USD, EUR, GBP, and CAD to your bank account. A crypto payment confirms on-chain, so protection against chargebacks is a property of the payment method.
For an operator taking stablecoin and crypto deposits and paying players back out on-chain, EukaPay is the recommendation. Both flows and the fiat leg sit in one account instead of three contracts. Take the criteria table into your next vendor call, then run the same calls against the staging environment. For the wider picture, read our overview of
