Top eSIM providers in Peru in 2026
August 28, 2026

Peru's eSIM providers are not three separate competitors. Guinea Mobile is an MVNE and MVNA enabler on the Claro Peru network, and it owns both Cuy Movil and PeruSIM as separate consumer-facing brands. eSIM providers in Peru effectively means one company selling under three names to three different buyers.
EukaPay reviewed the public-facing sites of all three brands. None had a working crypto or stablecoin checkout at the time of writing.
In this guide, you'll learn:
How Guinea Mobile, Cuy Movil, and PeruSIM relate to each other, and why they are not independent competitors
Who each of the three brands actually sells to
Where stablecoin and crypto acceptance stands across Peru's eSIM sellers today
How a Peru-facing eSIM brand can add crypto pay-ins without dropping its existing checkout
One operator, three consumer eSIM brands
Guinea Mobile
(guinea.pe), based in Lima and founded in 2016, is the MVNE and MVNA enabler behind Peru's eSIM market. It runs IoT connectivity on Claro Peru and owns Cuy Movil and PeruSIM outright.
Cuy Movil
(cuy.pe), founded in 2019, is Peru's first fully digital local MVNO. It sells prepaid plans and prepaid eSIM on Claro to everyday Peruvian consumers.
PeruSIM
(perusim.com) is a tourist-only MVNO built on the same Claro network. It sells SIM and eSIM data and voice plans to visitors, both online and at the Lima airport.
Three brands, three audiences: an enabler business, a domestic prepaid buyer, and an inbound tourist. All three sit on one corporate parent and one underlying network.
Which Peruvian eSIM brands accept stablecoins or crypto?
Here is what each brand's own site shows at checkout.
Company | Published payment methods | Stablecoins or crypto |
|---|---|---|
Guinea Mobile | Not confirmed from the public site | Not published |
Cuy Movil | Not confirmed from the public site | Not published |
PeruSIM | Not confirmed from the public site | Not confirmed either way |
Payment methods above are what each company's own site listed when this sheet was compiled, August 27, 2026.
Two of the three brands publish enough to confirm no crypto checkout today. The third does not publish enough checkout detail to confirm either way. Peru's eSIM sellers are not showing up in the small but growing set of merchants who accept stablecoins or crypto. With a single operator behind all three brands, one integration could change that for the whole market.
Crypto payments for eSIM providers
An eSIM brand does not have to choose between its existing checkout and crypto. Stablecoin payments for MVNOs work as an added rail, not a replacement. EukaPay sets a Peru-facing eSIM brand up to add a stablecoin or crypto checkout option alongside whatever it already runs. The option is a payment link or a hosted checkout page, and a non-developer can turn either one on directly from the dashboard.
EukaPay gives a merchant instant crypto-to-fiat conversion at a locked exchange rate to remove your exposure to crypto price swings, support for most major cryptocurrencies, and settlement in USD, EUR, GBP, and CAD to your bank account. A crypto payment settles on-chain, so protection against chargebacks is a property of the payment method.
PeruSIM sells to inbound tourists paying from outside Peru. A rail that does not depend on a Peruvian card network or a sol-denominated account can complete a purchase a local-only checkout cannot. EukaPay adds this rail. It does not ask a merchant to move off its existing checkout.

Frequently asked questions
Are Guinea Mobile, Cuy Movil, and PeruSIM the same company?
Guinea Mobile owns both Cuy Movil and PeruSIM. They sell under separate brand names to separate buyers, but all three share one corporate parent and one network, Claro Peru.
Does EukaPay settle payments in Peruvian soles?
No. EukaPay settles fiat to a merchant's bank account in USD, EUR, GBP, or CAD, not PEN. A Peru-facing eSIM brand adding EukaPay needs an account in one of those four currencies to receive fiat settlement.
Which cryptocurrencies can a customer pay an eSIM brand with?
EukaPay supports most major cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, USDC, and USDT on the pay-in side.
Does adding crypto payments mean an MVNO has to drop its existing checkout?
No. EukaPay adds a stablecoin or crypto option next to whatever payment methods a merchant already runs.
What does EukaPay onboarding involve?
A merchant signs up, completes verification, provides legal business information, then generates an API key. A staging environment is available for development.
Does a crypto payment protect an eSIM seller from chargebacks?
A crypto payment settles on-chain, so protection against chargebacks is a property of the payment method.
Does an eSIM company need a developer to accept crypto payments?
Not for a payment link or a hosted checkout page. Both can be set up from the EukaPay dashboard without custom code. The API is there for a business that wants a deeper integration.
Is a locked exchange rate optional, or does it apply to every payment?
The locked exchange rate applies by default to every conversion EukaPay processes, on both pay-ins and payouts.
